Horaa is a 7 year old girl, born in 2017, who is currently not enrolled in school. She has 3 other siblings, Zainab, Morteza, and Kamal, who all live with their grandfather after the father had passed away due to stroke in June of 2023. The family is experiencing financial hardship, and the mother wants to learn to become a seamstress as a profession in order to alleviate the worsening financial situation that they are going through. The family is in need of lots of various basic household materials, and they describe their situation as very tiring. Horaa, along with the others, need extra attention and care in order to academically catch up, as most of them have fallen behind in their respective grade levels in subjects such as social studies and mathematics.

Horaa’s mom is able to bring her to her class, and by then also help her with her schoolwork.
