We strive to break cycles of poverty, trauma, and exclusion by uplifting the next generation and supporting the women who raise them. Through locally rooted partnerships and sustainable, community-based development, we believe in building futures filled with dignity, resilience, and opportunity.

Wellness is every child’s right.
Conflict and crisis have left Iraq’s children carrying wounds that aren’t always visible. At Iraqi Children’s Hope, we believe that health is not a privilege—it’s a right.
That’s why we work to restore access to basic care, raise awareness about mental health, and support children facing malnutrition, trauma, and disability. Whether it’s training teachers to recognize early signs of developmental delays or helping families access essential treatment, our mission is to nurture children’s physical and emotional well-being—so they can grow up strong, safe, and hopeful.
20% of children under 5 are stunted due to chronic malnutrition.¹
1 in 5 of all Iraqi children show signs of depression.²
More than 1 in 3 struggle with anxiety.²

Health
Learning without limits:
Fighting stigma, poverty, and exclusion.
Education opens doors—but not all children in Iraq get the chance. Orphans and children in poverty face under-resourced schools, crowded classrooms, and little support at home. Many fall behind and drop out, not for lack of ability, but for lack of access and encouragement.
At Iraqi Children’s Hope, we help students stay in school and succeed. Through tutoring, school supplies, and mentorship, we support orphans in grades 1–9 across core subjects. Every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and reach their full potential—regardless of their background.

Success

Education
A future shaped by their own hands.
We believe that true empowerment doesn’t come from charity—it comes from choice.
At Iraqi Children’s Hope, we equip vulnerable youth and single-parent families with the tools to take ownership of their futures. From barbering and sewing courses to financial literacy and mental health education, our programs are designed to foster dignity, not dependency.
We work with teens aging out of orphanhood, mothers re-entering the workforce, and young adults seeking stability in a country still recovering from conflict. By investing in job skills, mentorship, and self-confidence, we’re not just responding to need—we’re rewriting what’s possible for an entire generation.
