Iraqi Children’s Hope distributed 12 tanks of water to families living in (Al-Faw, Basra province in Iraq) which is considered one of the hottest areas in Iraq, with temperatures reaching over 120 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer. This project provided a source of clean water to many households living below the poverty line, providing great relief to those who had once struggled to attain clean water. The waterborne disease was a significant concern to this community, including the intense labor and travel distance required to successfully attain limited amounts of clean water.
