Baneen is an 11-year-old girl, born in 2013, who is currently enrolled in fifth grade in a primary school. She has 3 other sisters, Shaymaa’, Hanaa’, and Fatima. They lost their father in 2020 due to COVID-19. They live, along with their mother, on an agricultural plot. Their living situation is very dire, especially considering this is a family of all girls and they don’t receive any pension. Baneen’s mom is able to take Baneen to classes, and sponsorship would greatly aid in necessities for her studies (e.g., tuition, books, and other basic materials).
