Iraqi Children’s Hope trained and provided many widowed women with the necessary skills and materials to start practicing the new skill of cutting hair. A Certificate of Completion was presented to the students at the end of the course.

Students prepared to become barbershop-ready by working more independently. The pace and conditions under which the students worked were similar to those in a real salon environment.

These courses contributed to changing the living conditions of many families through increased job skills and financial opportunities.
